I’ve always been slim. Most people say, “Oh, you are so lucky.” I respond. “This is not luck. It’s lifestyle.” Maintaining a healthy slim body is a day to day process of action and belief. Most diet plans are written by people who have lost weight, gain it back, lose it, and gain it back. These people are caught in a circle of inspiration and desperation, but my diet takes you off this endless cycle and heads you down the straight path of a fulfilled life with more energy, creativity and productivity. This blog focuses on ways to lose weight and leads you away from a life of drama .This is a diet for living, not just a weight loss plan.
I’ve spent a lifetime developing a formula: a way of living that allows one to have a healthier slimmer body. So who is the expert, the person who has lost and gained a million pounds or the one who maintains throughout her lifetime? If you chose the latter, then stick with me, because most of you can lose weight, but I can teach you to maintain your weight. What do you have to lose? (Couldn’t resist the pun.) Here it is – you may not believe it, but it is absolutely true. “You can eat amazing delicious food, not starve all the time, eat carbs*, enjoy your relationship with food, and lose weight. - Now for the first clue.
Secret Tip # 1 You are a very powerful healer. Never doubt that. That talent came with your body. Your body has an astounding ability to heal itself …and there’s more good news; your body is seeking its perfect size. The more you focus on the strengths of your true nature, the more power you have in all areas of your life. You already are capable of having a healthier slimmer body. Remember that. All resistance to that thought is drama. Drop the drama. Do not be a Hard-a-holic. A Hard-a-holic makes life hard and suffers about it.
Each thing you put in your mouth brings you closer to or takes you further from a healthier body. Maybe when you first start the EZ Secret: The Easiest and Most Effective Diet on the Planet, you will not make the best choices, but you can always make a better choice. Don’t try to be the poster child for eating perfectly; you will never eat perfectly, just make one better choice. Let’s say you really want something sweet. Instead of reaching for a candy bar, try a Lara Bar. These bars are raw, sweet and come in the most incredible flavors. The pecan pie ones are amazing. Even though the carbs are high, they are not empty calories. The bar is a food, not a dessert, but it tastes like one. If not a Lara Bar, then eat and apple, banana, watermelon or some strawberries. *Always contact a physician before starting a new weight or exercise plan. Saying this gets me off the liability hook. If you are diabetic or have special food considerations, you will want to modify some of the suggestions especially when it comes to carbs. If you cannot eat certain kinds of carbs that I recommend, adjust according to your specific needs. I do not think all carbs are the demons that we make them. Certainly sugars, high fructose corn syrup (HFC), processed foods and desserts are not healthy. The more you live the EZ Secret life, the less you will crave unhealthy processed foods.
